PUBLICATION GUIDELINES


SECTION A: INTRODUCTION

These publication guidelines are intended to ensure consistency, readability, academic quality, and production efficiency across all manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Management and Leadership Studies (IJMLS). Authors are requested to read and follow these guidelines carefully before preparing and submitting their manuscripts. Compliance with these requirements will facilitate a smooth review, editing, and publication process.

SECTION B: PUBLICATION RULES
1. General Document Formatting

2. Structure and Content

Each chapter or article should follow the structure below.

1 Chapter / Article Title Concise, descriptive and numbered sequentially.
2 Author(s) Include institutional affiliation and email address.
3 Summary / Abstract 150–250 words describing the purpose, scope and contribution.
4 Keywords Four to six keywords placed below the abstract.
5 Introduction Provide background, objectives and significance.
6 Main Body Organize into logical sections and subsections.
7 Conclusion Summarize key findings and future directions.
8 Acknowledgements Optional.
9 References Follow APA style consistently.

3. Headings and Subheadings
  • Avoid numbering headings.
  • Capitalize only the first letter and proper nouns.
  • Maintain consistent heading styles throughout the manuscript.
4. Paragraph Formatting
  • Use justified alignment.
  • Keep paragraphs concise (approximately 6–8 lines).
  • Leave one blank line between paragraphs.
5. Tables
  • Number tables consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.).
  • Place table titles above each table.
  • Use concise and descriptive titles.
  • Provide source notes where applicable.
  • Refer to every table within the text.
  • Avoid vertical borders and use minimal horizontal lines.

6. Figures and Illustrations
  • Number figures consecutively.
  • Place captions below each figure.
  • Minimum resolution: 300 dpi.
  • Preferred formats: TIFF, JPEG, PNG or EPS.
  • All figures must be cited within the manuscript.
7. Equations and Mathematical Expressions
  • Center-align all equations.
  • Number equations consecutively using parentheses.
  • Use standard mathematical notation.
8. Citations and References
  • Follow APA referencing style.
  • Ensure every in-text citation appears in the reference list.
  • Arrange references alphabetically.
9. Language and Style
  • Use clear, formal and academic language.
  • Avoid unnecessary technical jargon.
  • Maintain consistency in either British or American English.
  • Minimize the use of footnotes.
10. Ethical and Legal Considerations
  • Ensure originality of all submitted work.
  • Acknowledge all sources appropriately.
  • Obtain permission for copyrighted materials where required.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.
